Bishop Burton College has a purpose-built construction workshop complete with all the tools required for you to train as a bricklayer or plasterer.

Here you can acquire the knowledge base and practical skills needed to work in construction, as well as the confidence to apply your new skills to real projects.

Working with companies including Beal Homes, British Gypsum, Hobson and Porter, Ibstock, MKM Building Supplies and Persimmon Homes, we offer you access to good quality work experience, apprenticeships, supplies and guest speakers.

Many of our bricklaying and plastering students secure work before they have even finished their course!
