This course will equip you with the whole package for a career or degree level study in travel, tourism and hospitality.

From local to long-haul, marketing to management, event planning to eco-tourism - this is a varied and engaging programme enriched by off-site visits and guest speakers.

You will need four GCSEs at grade 4 or C or equivalent, preferably including English and Maths, or a relevant BTEC Level 2/First Diploma. One satisfactory reference is also needed.

Taught sessions will include relating theory to practice and researching real industry examples. Your learning will be enhanced by guest speakers and visits. Previous students have enjoyed trips to places such as Seville and Disneyland Paris.

Three days per week

You will need to undertake 30 hours of work experience.
You will be internally assessed through written and practical assessments.
You will be able to progress to study Travel and Tourism at degree level.
Work as a travel agent, events manager, visitor attraction manager, travel consultant, business development manager, marketing manager and many more.
