Ashley Webster, Apprentice

Alongside his Level 3 Golf Greenkeeper apprenticeship, Ashley is a keen golfer himself and has always had a desire to work within the golf industry. He credits the College for helping him not only academically, but for improving his mental health and giving him a sense of purpose.

“I would recommend Bishop Burton College to anyone. College is a lot different to the school way of teaching, you are treated as an adult and there is a lot of practicality in what you are learning. You’ll sit in the classroom, be explained one thing and then later shown how to do it for yourself. I think it’s a really good way of learning for me.

After completing his Level 3 apprenticeship, Ashley hopes to continue with his education, reaching his full potential before hopefully going on to work on a championship golf course.
