Understanding Our Courses
Applying for a vocational college-level course at Bishop Burton College couldn’t be easier. Here’s how it works...
Once you’ve chosen your college level course, hit the apply now button on that programme to complete our online application form.
We advise that you apply as early as possible to be guaranteed your place, however, we accept applications throughout the year.
We welcome students from all over the world, but there are some additional requirements if you're an international student. Find out more.
If so, you’ll be able to apply to us using this! You only need to apply once - either via LogonMoveon or via our online application form.
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll arrange an interview date and time with the relevant course manager. Keep an eye on your email for details. If during the interview you realise the course isn’t for you, don’t worry, we’re here to help you find the right one for you.
Had a successful interview? Congratulations! You’ll receive a conditional offer for a place at Bishop Burton College with details of the qualifications you need to secure your place. To secure your place, you will need to confirm that you accept the offer.
If you’re planning on living on campus, you’ll be sent details via email when applications open. We advise that you apply as soon as possible as rooms are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
We’ll also stay in touch with updates so you know what’s going on at Riseholme and are ready to join us.
During the summer before you start at Bishop Burton College, you’ll be sent full details of how and when to enrol.
Make sure you let us know of any changes to your address, email or telephone number so that you don’t miss any information. You can do this by emailing admissions@bishopburton.ac.uk.
Don’t worry if your exam results are better or worse than you expected. We will aim to offer you an alternative course to keep you on track for your next steps.
