Are you worried about accommodation costs while studying at degree level?

With the cost of living increasing, we understand that affording a university education can be challenging. At UCBB we are dedicated to helping our students realise their ambitions and helping them to secure a rewarding and successful future.

We are proud to have established a number of scholarships to support students who enrol on a Land-based degree programme to help make university life more affordable. These scholarships will cover all accommodation costs, when a student is living on campus in our dedicated university housing.

Eligibility Criteria

You must have received an offer to study and subsequently enrol on a programme in one of the following curriculum areas to be considered for this support.

Agriculture
Animal Sciences
Environmental Conservation
Equine
Floristry

The scholarships are awarded under our Access and Participation Plan and eligibility criteria includes but is not limited to the following:

Level of Study (Higher Education) in a land-based subject area
Care experienced or leaver

AND/OR

Previously in receipt of free school meals

AND

Provide reference to demonstrate personal academic achievement

Additional scholarships are available under the same criteria for students that live more than 50 miles away from the campus
