The course

The BA Floristry Design Top Up is designed for students who have successfully completed the Foundation Degree in Floristry or an appropriate level 5 qualification in floristry and wish to top up to gain an honours degree award. The programme provides you with a balanced approach to design theory, research, practical application, analysis and evaluation in floristry, to further enhance your employability and career development within the floristry industry.

The programme will introduce relevant live projects, commercial and client-focused activity culminating in the production of a comprehensive portfolio of work. Modules at Level 6 will encourage you to explore and experiment with the development of sustainable design techniques and materials, proposing new and exciting ways to approach floristry design. It is intended that this approach will allow you to follow your own creative direction whilst under the supervision of dedicated specialist tutors.
