Equestrian at Bishop Burton’s 70th Anniversary
As part of the 70th-anniversary celebrations, we are proud to host the Bishop Burton Horse Trials, a key fixture in the British Eventing calendar. Running alongside the main festivities, this exciting competition will showcase talented riders across dressage, show jumping, and cross-country disciplines.
Spectators can enjoy top-level equestrian sport set against the stunning backdrop of Bishop Burton College, with opportunities to experience the thrill of eventing firsthand. Whether you’re a dedicated equestrian fan or new to the sport, the Horse Trials promise an unforgettable weekend as we celebrate 70 years of excellence.

Parking
This year, parking is free and will be available on the day via our main entrance on the A1079.
No parking in Bishop Burton village.
Payment at the Event
Please bring your card with you to pay for entry tickets and food from our cafes during your visit.
We'd recommend bringing some cash with you too, to treat yourself when you visit our trade stands.
