Have you applied or already hold an offer to study at University Centre Bishop Burton (UCBB) from September 2025? Our Applicant and Offer Holders' Day is designed to help you to prepare for university life.

We are delighted to invite you to attend our Applicant and Offer Holders’ Day.

This is your chance to have an in-depth look at your future life at University Centre Bishop Burton (UCBB) meeting your tutors and future classmates.

You’ll have a taster of what studying at UCBB looks like and how our talented team will support you to realise your dreams. You will also have the opportunity to share a free and informal lunch before an optional opportunity to tour our accommodation village. We hope you will go away excited and ready to start your journey with UCBB this September!

You are very welcome to bring along parents and/or supporters and you can stay for the whole day or just the morning. Our programme for the day includes activities for all and representatives of our admissions, finance, accommodation and student support teams will be on hand to answer any questions you have about joining UCBB in September.

Schedule:

10.15 - 10.30AM: Registration
Head over to our Main Reception to check-in, we'll then take you over to our Conference Hall where you can grab a hot drink, some tasty pastries and UCBB merch!

10.30 - 10.45AM: Welcome to UCBB
Learn more about the day and be introduced to key team members including the Higher Education faculty team and support teams.

10.45 - 12.00PM: Faculty-led interactive activities
Take part in a hands-on activity to learn more about your chosen subject area. Parents/supporters will be kindly asked to either stay in the Conference Hall or take part in the optional campus tour.

12.00 - 12.45PM: Life Coach workshop
Join Simon Horner, Life Coaches Team Leader, as he discusses how his team can support your learning journey here at UCBB.

12.45 - 1.15PM: Lunch!

1.15 - 1.30PM: Student Finance and available bursaries talk
Gain some valuable information about the Student Finance process and also learn about the available bursaries that you could benefit from.

1.30 - 2.00PM: Optional tour of the Accommodation village
Thinking of living on site? This is a great opportunity to take a look at our Accommodation Village and ask our accommodation team lots of questions on what to bring and what not to bring!

2.00PM: Depart

Location

The Applicant and Offer Holders' Day will take place at the Bishop Burton College campus. Please use the Village Entrance and park in Visitor Car Park (car park 5). Please then follow the signage to our Main Reception where we will be there ready to welcome you to UCBB.
